Description:

Three piece (short handle and two 5' sections) ultra-light match rod for delicate presentation. Particularly at home on canals, for bloodworm, and tough winter league fishing.
Available as a rod or blank.

Introduction:

The original match special sold so well, that in the North it was on almost every peg in Canal matches. Even with modern advances in technology there is little we can do to refine the action of the blank, but we have upgraded the build to include an abbreviated handle with a Fuji Screw reel fitting. Rings are Hopkins RDX. The price remains astonishingly good value for this craftsman made British rod using the best components.

Action:Ultra-light, ultra-sensitive compound blank with a spliced tip.
